This is for you if
- You re-explain the same five things about your project every session.
- You copied somebody's CLAUDE.md and it did not help much.
- You suspect yours is too long, and you are probably right.

- Write a context file for YOUR project that changes the output measurably.
- Know what belongs in it and what is wasted space — most files are mostly waste.
- Test whether a line is earning its place instead of guessing.
